This step allows changing the Unit ID used to communicate with the remote device. This could be useful if you need to use another Unit ID configured during the open connection step.
To configure this step open the Edit Step window from TestStand sequence editor.
In the configuration dialog box, you can change the following settings:
· Connection Name: connection used to communicate with the device.
· Unit ID: device targeted by all Modbus master read and write operations.

Note The Unit ID is either the device identification of serial device or its index number or a value required by the device. This value can be used especially with a serial transmission data unit or when dealing with Modbus Bridges that convert Modbus TCP to Modbus serial. |
