Specific Error Codes

Modbus Steps can return the following error codes.

Known Issue

8530

Your Evaluation period has expired. Please, activate your license to be able to run Modbus Steps.

8531

Your license is corrupted. Please Contact Mesulog. You need a valid license to be able to run Modbus Steps.

8532

Invalid License Detected. If you just activate your license. Please restart TestStand to make sure that the activation is working in execution.

8533

Connection Name "Connection Name" is already opened.

8534

Connection Name “Connection Name" is not initialized.

A timeout occurred on Connection "Connection Name" when trying to communicate with the device. Please make sure that the location information of the device (IP Address or COM Port) is correct, the connection parameters are correct, the cable is connected and the device is powered on.

The network connection was refused by the server for Connection "Connection Name".

The connection "Connection Name" was closed by the device. This can occur when the device reboots or if the connection was not used for a long period of time.
