Configure your DCOM and Firewall Security

OPC DA Connect relies on OPCDAAuto ActiveX component, to address distant COM server. OPC DA Connect requires a proper DCOM configuration on both server and client.

If you encounter OPC connectivity issues with OPC DA Connect, Mesulog strongly recommends using a free OPC Client to check OPC operations is working properly.

Tip It is strongly recommended to create a dedicated Group of Users that have an access to the OPC Server.
